Bobby Sanguinetti

Robert " Bobby" Sanguinetti (born 29 February 1988 Trenton, New Jersey ) is an American professional ice hockey player of Italian descent who stands in July 2013 in Atlant Mytischtschi in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Sanguinetti began his career with the Owen Sound Attack in the Ontario Hockey League. In 2006 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected by the New York Rangers in the first round at position 21. After an excellent 2006/07 season at youth level with 23 goals for the Owen Sound Attack he could gain first experiences in the AHL farm team of the Rangers as a so-called try-out players. In five games, he recorded three assists. The following season he again started in the OHL, but this time at the Brampton Battalion. There he came on 29 goals and 70 points scorer.

After he resigned Brampton in the OHL playoffs, Sanguinetti played again for Hartford. With the beginning of the season 2008/ 09 he was then an integral part of the squad of Wolf Pack. Thanks to the good performances in his first full season in the AHL, he was nominated for the AHL All-Star Classic. In Traninigslager the New York Rangers for the 2009/10 season, the defender could make long hopes of a place in the squad of Rangers, since previously only four defenders places were awarded. But, to his detriment, the last two seats at Michael Del Zotto and Matt Gilroy were awarded, after which he was sent back to Hartford to gain more experience.

From 2010 to 2013 Sanguinetti spent three years in the organization of the Carolina Hurricanes, for which the defender completed 40 NHL games. In July 2013 he was engaged for two seasons Atlant Mytischtschi from the Kontinental Hockey League.

Internationally

His home country represented Sanguinetti at the U20 Junior World Championship 2008 in the Czech Republic. In six games, he scored one goal and setting up two more before. The team reached the fourth place after a defeat against Canada in the semi-finals and Russia in the match for third place.
