Geography

Böhmfeld lies in the region of Ingolstadt.

There is only the district Böhmfeld.

History

Until 1803 Böhmfeld was an office of the Prince-Bishopric of Eichstätt ( the lower courts was the Eichstätter ates monastery of St. Walburg exercised ), which was from 1500 in the Frankish Empire circuit and in the kingdom in 1803 with the largest part of the hochstiftischen area to Archduke Ferdinand of Tuscany fell. Since the peace treaties of Brno and Bratislava in 1805 the place belonged to Bavaria.

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of 612 k € in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted 81 T €.
