Bohuslavice (Jihlava District)

Bohuslavice ( German Wohuslawitz, formerly Bohuslawitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers southeast of Telc and belongs to Okres Jihlava.

Geography

Bohuslavice is located in the southern foothills of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands, on the right bank of the Vápovka. To the north, the Vápovická Ostražka collected ( 598 m), northeast of the U Ostrážku (626 m ) east of the Otvrň ( 636 m), in the south the Kalvárie (601 m) and northwest of the Bláhův Kopec (621 m) and the Vápovická hora ( 628 m). To the west lies the reservoir Nová Říše.

Neighboring towns are Olšany in the north, Vápovice in the northeast, and Rozseč Otvrň in the east, and Zdenkov Krasonice the southeast, Magdalena and Bohusoudov in the south, Nová Říše the southwest, Brázdův Mlýn and Vystrčenovice in the west and Zvolenovice and Rozsíčky in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1207. Bohuslavice was at this time a Landadelsgut, which included a Vorwerkshof and another Freihofstraße. 1353 Ota Bohuslavice and Hron 1360 Bohuslavice was named as owner. By the middle of the 15th century the village belonged to the Vladiken Bohuslavice, followed by further generations, which also zulegten the predicate Bohuslavice. As of 1550, the property belonged to the Bul of Bořitov, they were followed from 1597 by Kona VYDRA, 1607 January Zahrádecký of Zahrádka and after January Cejka of Olbramovice. He expanded his rule Nové Syrovice around the village Krnčice and farms in Strážov and Horni Slatina; in return, he left the monastery in 1618 Nová Říše Bohuslavice. The monastery belonged since the 14th century Vranůvky, which had been separated from Bohuslavice 1570 as an independent component. The mill in 1570 Bohuslavice had purchased for the convent of the Provost Urban. Bohuslavice was in 1618 from the parties, the court and twelve peasant farms. After the abolition of patrimonial Bohuslavice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Datschitz. 1870 was the village of 34 houses and 233 inhabitants had. 1948, the community was associated with the Okres Třešť and after its dissolution in 1961 it belongs to the Okres Jihlava.
