Bonner Platz (Munich U-Bahn)

Metro Station Bonner Platz is a railway station of the Munich subway. Here runs the U3 between Moosach and Fuerstenried West.

The station was opened on 8 May 1972 is below the homonymous square in Munich's Schwabing. The rear track walls are made of concrete with cast- reliefs. The floor is covered with Isarkiesel designs. The columns in the center are lined with granite slabs that were renewed between 2004 and 2006. The ceiling has no light bands, but individual, not located under the aluminum fins, but with extra cutouts, flares.

The sunrises directly to residential areas by the Bonn court. The walls in the stairways were up to 2004 light beige ceramic plates, but they were removed because some are dropped.

On January 22, 1995 shot at the Bonner Platz Underground Station is a wanted criminal the 21 -year-old police officer Markus Jobst and seriously injured his 24 -year-old colleague. He was arrested five days later in Nuremberg.
