Born This Way – The Remix

Born This Way - The Remix is the second remix album by American singer Lady Gaga, released on November 18, 2011 in Germany, and three days later in other countries. It contains 14 remixes of songs from their second studio album Born This Way.

Background

In October 2011, Lady Gaga announced that she still plans to release a remix album later this year. It is a part of Born This Way - The Collection, further still from the 17 -track version of Born This Way and the DVD of the HBO concert Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden is. None of the remixes was present on the second disc of the deluxe edition of Born This Way, so that each title was previously unreleased.

Criticism

Jason Lipshultz from Billboard said that the album is not new in terms of remix albums. He also recommends it only for Gaga's fans who get with this album great new versions of their favorite songs. The remaining part of the population speak this album in his opinion rather less.

The second disc of the deluxe edition of Born This Way already contains six remixes. The new remix album contains 14 previously unreleased remixes.

Chart positions

Born This Way - The Remix reached # 41, where the CD was for four weeks in the charts in Spain. In France, the plate rose to rank 71 (one week ) and Italy occupied the 89th position Remix Album Here was the album a week in the chart rankings. In the UK Top 40 Born This Way reached - The Remix 77th; in the United States Rank 105
