History
The Botkyrka HC was created in 1998 by the merger of departments Hockey IFK Tumba and Botkyrka IF. In its premiere season the team took part in the then Division 1 second-rate. After a reorganization of the leagues system, the Division 1 was the 1999/2000 season, the third highest division in Sweden. In the period following the Botkyrka HC established in Division 1 while from 2001 to 2004 three times in a row until the Relegation 'Ascent. In the new second league, which HockeyAllsvenskan failed
