The Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport ( IATA: FRG, ICAO: KBRD ) is the city's airport in Brainerd Crow Wing County in the center of the U.S. state of Minnesota.

The airport is operated by the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport Commission, a joint body of the city of Brainerd and Crow Wing County.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) classifies the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems belonging to the airport according to the number of 16,665 departing passengers as a primary commercial service airport.

Location

The airport is located eight kilometers north-east of the center of Brainerd. The Minnesota State Route 210 runs directly past the airport. To the west of the airport flows the headwaters of the Mississippi.

Equipment

The Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport has a total area of 631 hectares. He has two start and runways, both of which have a concrete pad. There is a passenger terminal with a jetway. The National car rental companies, Hertz and Alamo have bases in the reception building.

At the airport a total of 88 aircraft are based. Of these, 72 single-engine and multi-engine propeller aircraft four, four jet aircraft and eight helicopters.
