Břehov

Břehov ( German Schwiehalm, formerly Břehow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers northwest of Ceske Budejovice in South Bohemia České Budějovice and belongs to the.

Geography

Břehov is located on the right side of the creek Břehovský creek in Budweiser pool. Southwest is the pond Dehtář, in the east of Podmůstek. Against the southwest of the Vosí raise vrch (441 m) and the Na Středním (441 m).

Neighboring towns are Pištín and Sucha on the north, Češnovice in the northeast, Picina and Dasný in the east, Čejkovice, Haklovy Dvory and Jaronice the southeast, Na Drahách and Žabovřesky in the south, Dehtáře and Strýčice the southwest, Radošovice and Tupesy in the west and Malé Chrášťany in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village Břehov took place in 1378 as part of the Kronherrschaft Protivín. In the 15th century, the village was largely pledged to the Vladiken Kunasch of macho joke ( Kunášové Machovic z ) and the Fixed macho joke ( Machovice ) submissive. Another portion belonged to the rule Fraunberg, this involved after the woman Berger land register of 1490 14 subjects.
