Brent Petway

Brenton " Brent " LaJames Petway (born 12 May 1985 in Warner Robins, Georgia ) is an American professional basketball player.

Career

Petway began at the Griffin High School with the basketball and played there for two years. He then played one year for the Eagles Landing High School before he moved to the Union Grove High School for another year. At the University of Michigan he played from 2003 to 2007. Doing so, he achieved a points average of 5.8 points per game.

In 2007, Petway part in a training camp of the Portland Trail Blazers. In the 2007 /08 season he played for the Idaho Stampede in the NBA Development League. In 2008, he played for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA Summer League, before joining the season 2008 /09 to Idaho Stampede. For the Summer League 2009 he played with the Toronto Raptors in Canada. He then moved to Greece and since then plays in the A1 Ethniki.

Trivia

Due to its high jumps and his dunks he got the nickname Air Georgia.
