Bruno Méndez

Bruno Méndez López ( born April 16, 1990 in La Roda, Asturias ) is a Spanish racing driver. He was the 2009 European F3 Open champion. In 2011 he competed in the Auto GP.

Career

Méndez began his motorsport career in 1998 in karting, where he was active until 2005. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing and immediately became vice-champion of the Spanish Formula Junior behind Daniel Campos -Hull. In 2007 he joined the Spanish Formula 3, finishing with two podium finishes in seventh place overall this championship. 2008, the Spaniards remained in the Spanish Formula 3 and improved with a victory on the fifth place in the overall standings.
