Geographical location

The market is located in the Danube-Iller region in Mittelschwaben in the Valley of Roth, about 23 km as the crow southeast of Ulm and 26 kilometers north of Memmingen.

To the east is the unincorporated area of ​​Roggenburger Forst, in the southeast borders the community to the county Unterallgaeu.

History
