Burghart Klaußner

Burghart Klaussner (* September 13, 1949 in Berlin) is a German actor, theater director and singer.

Life

Burghart Klaussner began in 1969 a degree in German and theater studies at the Free University of Berlin, moved in the same year at the Berlin Max -Reinhardt - School for Acting, to become an actor. From 1970 to 1972 he worked on the stage at the Hall 's shore. He was then obliged by the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, the Schiller Theatre and the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin as well as stage in Frankfurt, Bochum and Zurich.

2005 Klaussner has been are over awarded the German Film Award for his supporting role in The Fat Years. He stars as the ruthless businessman Justus Hardenberg, who, however, can also be seen from a different page. In the same year he played in the TV miniseries The Airlift - The sky was clear, the historical person of the mayor of Berlin in 1948, Ernst Reuter.

In 2006 he received at the film festival in Locarno Golden Leopard for Best Actor for his role as an ambassador in the movie The Man from the Embassy. In 2007, he starred in The Novembermann next Götz George as a blind piano teacher 's husband Henry light box light box lover who is undetected for a friend of the piano teacher.

Klaussner in 2010 was awarded the German Film Award for Best Actor for The White Ribbon. In the same year he starred as King of Spain, Philip II at the Dresden State Theatre in Don Carlos.

Klaussner in 2011 received the German Audio Book Prize for Best Artist.

2012 was awarded the Rolf Klaussner - Mares Award in the category Outstanding Achievement performer and the German Theatre Prize FIST in the category Actor Acting for death of a salesman.

Burghart Klaussner is a member of the Free Academy of the Arts in Hamburg and the German Film Academy, whose board he was elected in 2010. He is also active as a director and writer. In 2009, he staged at the Schauspielhaus Bochum his first piece of Marigold.
