Cape Cod Buccaneers

The Cape Cod Buccaneers were an American ice hockey franchise of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League from South Yarmouth, Massachusetts.

History

The Cape Cod Buccaneers took to the 1981/82 season as one of seven founding members of the match operation in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League. The team was owned by the entrepreneur and sports official Vincent K. McMahon, which includes the Cape Cod Coliseum was and there could be conducted wrestling events. As a coach and general manager of the team Jim Troy was committed. For financial reasons, the franchise was forced already during its premiere season on 1 February 1982 prematurely discontinue the operation of gambling.
