Pinebridge Bucks

The Pinebridge Bucks were an American ice hockey franchise of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League from Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

History

The Pinebridge Bucks took the 1983/84 season as an expansion team of the match operation in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League. As head coach of the Canadian Don Luce has been committed, who had stood as an active player in nearly 1000 games in the National Hockey League on the ice. After a disappointing start to the season he has already been released early and replaced by the record player the Bucks Frank Perkins, who led the team as player-coach in the following year and a half in fifth place and three after the regular season. Following the 1984/85 season, the Bucks Pinebridge presented finally a game operation.
