Capinota Municipality

The municipality Capinota is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality Capinota is one of three Municipalities of the province Capinota. It is bordered on the northwest by the province Quillacollo, on the west by the municipality of Sicaya, on the southwest by the province Arque, on the southeast by the department of Potosí, to the west by the province of Esteban Arce, and to the north by the municipality of Santiváñez.

The central location of the municipality is Capinota with 4,766 inhabitants ( 2001 census ) in the northwestern part of the county.

Geography
