Capmany

Capmany is a Catalan municipality in the province of Girona, northeastern Spain. It is located in the comarca of Alt Empordà.

Economy

The community is dominated by agriculture and there are mainly cultivated vines. The harvested grapes are processed into wine and cava at local wineries and marketed under the guarantee of origin designations Empordà and Catalunya; among other things, is the known Catalonia addition winery group Oliveda in Capmany resident who is also a wine museum on its premises.
