Cervantes, Ilocos Sur

Cervantes is a town in the Philippine Ilocos Sur. Cervantes is very mountainous and is crossed by several rivers, such as the Abra. The highest mountains of the area are Mount Namogian of about 2000 m and the Mount Monserrat by about 1700 m. The population lives mainly on rice cultivation. On the territory of the municipality lies the Bessang Pass Natural Monument, a national memorial.
