Charles Winckler

Charles Wilhelm Gustav Winckler ( born April 9, 1867 in Frederiksberg, † December 17, 1932 ) was a Danish athlete and Tauzieher.

Winckler 1900 took part in the Olympic Games in Paris in the shot put and was there only tenth. He also took part in the discus throw, but could also win a medal there. He then took the tug of war with other Swedish and Danish athletes together in a mixed team participants, including Edgar Aabye, August Nilsson, Eugen Schmidt, Karl Gustaf Gustaf Söderström and Staaf, with which he could win the gold medal against a French team.

Four times Winckler was Danish title: Both 1901 ( 10.04 meters), 1902 ( 9.74 m ) and 1903 ( 10.20 m ) he won the shot put, and 1902 ( 29.31 m) he won the discus throw.
