Chinese Taipei Davis Cup team

The Taiwanese Davis Cup team represents the Republic of China, which is now the home to Taiwan in international team competitions in tennis as Davis Cup team from Chinese Taipei. The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, similar to the Fed Cup for the women.

History

Since 1972, Taiwan has participated in Davis Cup. 2005, 2006 and 2009 they reached the best result with the second round of the Asia / Oceania Zone Group I. The most successful player is Jimmy Wang with 22 wins, a record player with 20 appearances in 13 years is Hsu Huang- Jung.
