Israel Davis Cup team

The Israeli Davis Cup team is the national team of Israel Tennis. The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, similar to the Fed Cup for the women.


Since 1949, Israel takes part in the Davis Cup. The best result achieved the team in 2009, when they pushed forward after victories over Sweden and Russia to the semifinals. There was, however, against Spain last stop, the game was lost 1:4. The most successful player is Shlomo Glickstein with 44 victories, which has 24 participations at the same time together with Andy Ram record player in his country.
