Slovakia Davis Cup team

The Slovak Davis Cup team is the national Tennis Slovakia. The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, similar to the Fed Cup for the women.

History

Since 1993, Slovakia participates in the Davis Cup. The biggest success the team Davis Cup in 2005 with the finals against Croatia. It was not until the fifth game decided the final in favor of Croatia, as Mario Ančić smooth in three sets won against Michal Mertiňák. The most successful player is Karol Kučera with a total of 33 victories, record player Dominik Hrbatý with 26 participations in 14 years.
