Uzbekistan Davis Cup team

The Uzbek Davis Cup team is the national team of Uzbekistan Tennis. The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, similar to the Fed Cup for the women.

History

Since 1994, Uzbekistan has participated in Davis Cup, some players have already played previously for the team of the former Soviet Union. A total of five times already, the team reached the play-offs for promotion to the World Group, but always missed the leap into the House of Lords. The most successful player is Oleg Ogorodov, who won 53 games in 29 appearances. He is therefore also record player.
