Christian Emil Krag-Juel-Vind-Frijs

Christian Emil Krag - Juel - Vind - Frijs, Lehnsgraf to Frijsenborg, ( born December 8, 1817 Castle Frijsenborg, † October 12, 1896 in Tårs at Hjørring ) was a Danish statesman.

Christian Emil Krag - Juel - Vind - Frijs, originally from old rich and gender, in 1858 elected a member of the Imperial Council. When he had formed his new ministry on November 6, 1865, his whole effort went out to happy termination of the Constitutional struggle and final order of the internal constitutional relations.

He achieved this goal without wavering. In the great work of reform in the following years Frijs participated with his characteristic zeal and insightful art perseverance. In 1870, he and his ministry took their dismissal. Frijs needed rest after five hard years of struggle and tireless work. Since then Frijs lived on his estates in Jutland and took only sometimes on behalf of the king a diplomatic mission.
