Christine Charlotte of Solms-Braunfels

Christine Charlotte of Solms- Braunfels ( born November 10, 1690 in Greifenstein, † October 16, 1771 in Bad Homburg, Germany ) was a countess of Solms- Braunfels and by marriage Princess of Hesse -Homburg.

Life

Christine Charlotte was a daughter of Count Wilhelm Moritz zu Solms - Braunfels (1651-1720) from his marriage to Sophie Magdalene (1660-1720), daughter of the Landgrave Wilhelm Christoph of Hesse- Homburg.

They married on October 3, 1722 in Braunfels Prince Casimir William of Hesse -Homburg ( 1690-1726 ), who died only 36 years old, shortly after the birth of the third child of the marriage. 1727, she was confirmed by the Imperial Chamber Court in Wetzlar the regency for her son.
