Christofer homes Roth ( born August 1, 1981 in Unna ) is a German football goalkeeper.
Career
Club career
Youth and Schalke 04
Homes Roth began his career at the SG masses. Scouts of Borussia Dortmund saw him in his time at BSV Menden and brought him to Dortmund, where he played in the youth department from 1996 to 1997. After a further two years in the sport friends Oestrich- Iserlohn he came in 1999 in the A- youth from FC Schalke 04 in 2002 he was in the senior squad, as Schalke DFB Cup winner was.
Borussia Mönchengladbach
Since the 2006/07 season homes Roth plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach. With Borussia homes rose Roth in his first season starting in the 2nd Bundesliga. While he was a reserve goalkeeper in the relegation season from a few games, homes Roth was in the 2007/ 08 season as the No. 1 at Borussia in the gate, because the contract was not renewed with the former goalkeeper Kasey Keller. This season, he rose with Borussia Mönchengladbach and again in the first league.
Round 7 of the 2008/09 season he lost his place between the posts as him interim coach Christian goat had not taken into account after a few blunders for the game in Bochum. The new coach Hans Meyer then moved on the recommendation of Christian goat also initially Uwe Gospodarek, leaving just before the winter break, but also re- homes Roth play. During the winter break Borussia Mönchengladbach eventually sorted out Uwe Gospodarek from the first team, while homes Roth remained as second goalkeeper behind the newly obligated goalkeeper Logan Bailly of Borussia. In the first half of the Bundesliga season 2010/11 homes Roth moved after a losing streak again as a goalkeeper between the posts, but lost his place at the end of the 2010/11 season again, this time to Marc -André ter Stegen.
On December 6, 2012 homes Roth played his first international match in the competition of the UEFA Europa League, when he was preferred to regular keeper Marc -Andre ter Stegen in the final group game against Fenerbahce Istanbul.
His contract with Borussia Moenchengladbach runs until June 2016.
National
From 2003 to 2004 homes Christofer Roth made four games for the German U-21 national team.
