Sooner or simply called Ciudad Darío San Pedro de Metapa only Metapa, is a municipality of the department of Matagalpa in Nicaragua. It is located in the region Metlalpán. On February 25, 1920 the name change of the municipios was named in honor of the poet Rubén Darío, who was born there on 18 January 1867 caused.

Economy

History

In the 16th century, the first inhabitants settled on the first estates.
