Cooper Islands

The Cooper Islands are a small group of islands in the mouth of the Chicago Harbor on the northeast side of Attu Island, the largest of the Near Islands in the Aleutian Islands. The islands were in July 1855 in the North Pacific Surveying Expedition of Lt.. William Gibson, USN, named after the schooner USS Fenimore Cooper.
