Costa da Caparica is a municipality and city in Portugal.

The municipality is 10.2 km ² and has 13,498 inhabitants (as of 30 June 2011). The city got the right place on 9 December 2004 awarded.

Costa da Caparica is located in Almada county, near the mouth of the Tagus River into the Atlantic Ocean, Lisbon on the opposite bank. From there, the narrow- gauge railway " Minicomboio da Caparica ", 9 km south Fonte da Telha.

The football club Grupo Desportivo dos Pescadores da Costa de Caparica ( GDPCC ) plays in the Campo Pescadores. Well-known former player of the team is Marco Airosa, who spent his professional career began in 2004.
