Courtney Babcock

Courtney Babcock (* June 30, 1972 in Chatham -Kent, Ontario ) is a Canadian middle and long distance runner.

2000 Canadian champion in cross-country running, 2001 and 2002 over 5000 m and 2002 and 2003 over 10,000 m. At the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton in 2001 she divorced about 5000 m in the flow, and at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis was they each eighth.

In 2004, she competed at the Olympic Games in Athens 1500 m and 5000 m, but failed each in the flow. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne she finished seventh in the 5000m.

Courtney Babcock is 1,63 m tall and weighs 50 kg. The hockey player Larry Babcock The daughter studied at the University of Michigan. She is married, has a son and is currently coach of the Cross Country team at the University of Montana.
