Craig Dolby

Craig Dolby ( born March 31, 1988 in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England ) is a British racing driver.

Career

Like most racers began Dolby his career in karting, where he was active from 1992 to 2002. Among other things, in 2002 he was vice-champion of the national Super 1 JICA championship. In 2003, the British driver in Formula racing and competed in the Belgian Formula Renault 1.6, in which he finished fourth overall with four wins. Once he was in the 2004 British Formula Renault 13 become winter championship, he was 18th in 2004 the British Formula Renault. After a one year break, Dolby returned to the Belgian Formula Renault 1.6 and won with seven wins the championship. In 2007 he moved to the French Formula Renault and came eleventh in the championship. He also competed in two races in the Italian Formula Renault.

In 2008 he moved to the newly founded Superleague Formula, where the cars are painted in the colors of football clubs. In his debut season, he raced for the team from Astro Mega, for which he was already down in the Belgian Formula Renault 1.6, supervised team of RSC Anderlecht. The Englishman played the entire season and was with two podium finishes sixth in the overall standings. 2009 remained in Dolby Superleague Formula and switched to the managed by Alan Docking Racing team of Tottenham Hotspur. He won a race and secured his team the runner-up title behind the piloted by Adrián Vallés racing cars of Liverpool FC. 2010 Dolby denies his third season in the Superleague Formula for the team of Tottenham Hotspur. He won the season opener at Silverstone and also was Weekend Winner. After the first race weekend he led the overall standings.
