Cuchumuela Municipality

The municipality Cuchumuela (also: Villa Gualberto Villarroel ) is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality Cuchumuela is one of five Municipalities of the province Punata. It is bordered on the northwest by the municipality of Villa Rivero, on the southwest by the province of Esteban Arce, on the east by the province Mizque, in the north- east by the province Arani and to the north by the municipality of Tacachi.

The central location of the municipality is Cuchumuela with 448 inhabitants ( 2001 census ) in the northern part of the county.

Geography

The municipality Cuchumuela lies in the transitional area between the Bolivian Altiplano in the west and the Bolivian lowlands to the east. The mean average temperature of the region is almost 18 ° C (see climate chart Cochabamba ) and varies only slightly between 14 ° C in June and July and 20 ° C in November.
