Daisuke Nakajima

Daisuke Nakajima (Japanese中 岛 大佑, Daisuke Nakajima, born January 29, 1989 in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture) is a Japanese racing driver. In 2011 he raced in the Formula Nippon. His father Satoru and his brother Kazuki are also racers.

Career

After Nakajima began his motorsport career in karting, 2007, he moved to Formula racing and made his first experiences in the Japanese Formula Challenge. With four victories, he was fifth in the overall standings. 2008 Nakajima joined the Japanese Formula 3 Championship and finished ninth overall.

2009 moved to Europe Nakajima and Räikkönen Robertson went for racing in the British Formula 3 Championship at the start. With two podium finishes, he finished the season in seventh place overall and thus placed himself in front of his team-mate Carlos Huertas, who was eighth. 2010 denied Nakajima for Raikkonen Robertson Racing its second season in the British Formula 3 Championship. With three second places as the best results, he finished in eleventh place in the overall standings.

2011 Nakajima returned to Japan and joined the family team Nakajima Racing in the Formula Nippon. At the end of the season, he finished 13th overall.
