Daniel Corso

Daniel Corso ( born April 3, 1978 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2013 beiIlves Tampere of the SM - liiga under contract.

Career

Daniel Corso began his career as a hockey player with the Victoriaville Tigers, for by 1998 he was active from 1994 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in the seventh round in 1996 when a total of 169 players from the St. Louis Blues. First Corso played from 1998 to 2000 exclusively for their farm team in the American Hockey League, before he gave Worcester IceCats during the 2000/ 01 season his debut in the National Hockey League for the Blues. After Corso played in the 2002/03 season only once for St. Louis in the NHL, he spent the following season to their league rivals Atlanta Thrashers, where, however, he could not prevail.

In summer 2004, Corso was the first time in his career to Europe, where he ever a season long in the German Ice Hockey League for the Kassel Huskies and Frankfurt Lions got on the ice. Following his time in the DEL, the Canadian returned to North America where he was, however, only active in the AHL before he was given a contract in the Russian Super League Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod during the 2007/08 season. After the season Kärpät Oulu undertook the Center, with whom he was in season 2008/ 09 runners-up. From June 2009 he stood at Timrå IK in the Elitserien under contract before Corso was committed by the end of December 2010 HK Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.

In September 2012, his running contract was terminated prematurely with Dinamo Minsk and Corso was out of contract in the sequence. Beginning in January 2013, he was obliged by the Lausanne HC, with that in the 2012/13 season won the championship of the National League B of Canadians and the rise in the National League A managed.
