Daniel Florea

Daniel Florea ( born December 18, 1975 in Vaslui, Vaslui county ) is a former Romanian football player. The full-back played a total of 321 games in the Romanian Divizia A, the Ukrainian Premjer - Liha and the Cypriot First Division.

Career

Florea began his career at Oţelul Galaţi, for whom he made ​​his debut in Divizia A shortly before his 18th birthday on 1 December 1993 against UTA Arad. In 1997 he moved to Dinamo Bucharest in 2000 and Romanian champion and cup winner. The following season was Dinamo vice-champion, but Florea played only 15 league games. In the summer of 2001, he moved to Ukraine, where he played first for the first division side Shakhtar Donetsk with whom he again achieved the double in 2002. After the Cup victory in 2004 Florea lost his place and moved to the winter break 2004/ 05 to Metalurh Zaporizhia. After the season he went for half a year to Metalurh Donetsk, which he left in January 2006 to return on loan to his hometown club Dinamo Bucharest. After a third place in the 2005/06 season he moved to his last club APOEL Nicosia, where, according to two league titles and a Cup victory, he finished his career in 2009.

The 1.77 m wide defensive player denied between 1999 and 2002 three caps for the Romanian national football team, in which he scored a goal.
