Daniel Halfar

Daniel Halfar ( born January 7, 1988 in Mannheim ) is a German football player. He plays as an attacking midfielder.

Club career

Youth

Halfar began playing football at MFC Phönix Mannheim 02 and in 1997 to the e- Youth of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. As U-17 Junior In 2005 he was awarded as the Fritz -Walter - Medal in silver.

1 FC Kaiserslautern

In Kaiserslautern he played during the 2005/ 06 season first in the regional team before he first ran aground in the first Bundesliga December 11, 2005 against FC Bayern Munich. He joined in late 2005 from a running until June 30, 2010 professional contract with FCK.

His first two Bundesliga goals he scored on 4 February 2006, in the match of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern at MSV Duisburg. With these two goals, he was the youngest Premier League scorer of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern (18 years, 28 days). He was also the hitherto youngest player in Bundesliga history, who scored two goals in a game.

After successfully completing the surgery back in July 2007 Halfar returned back to training. A few days later Halfar was excluded " disciplinary reasons " from the training of the professional team.

Arminia Bielefeld

End of August 2007 he moved to first division club Arminia Bielefeld, with whom he relegated from the Bundesliga in 2009. Overall Halfar completed 73 games and was able to score a goal.

TSV 1860 München

In summer 2010, he moved to TSV 1860 Munich, where he signed a two-year contract until 30 June 2012. On the second day he was there at the home game against VfL Osnabrück his debut when he came on for Daniel Bierofka.

He benefited in the first round by the failure Stefan Aigner and in the second half of Daniel Bierofkas and secured the regular place in the left midfield. Beginning of the season he was sidelined for two months due to a hairline crack in his right foot. Overall, he played in this season 23 times for 1860 and scored two goals. He gave nine assists, team internally most. 2012/13 came Halfar to 27 appearances in the Bundesliga 2. In the spring of 2013 he fell for several weeks because of a bone edema.

1 FC Köln

In the summer of 2013 Halfar changed from TSV 1860 Munich 1 FC Köln, in which he signed a three-year contract. His first two goals scored Halfar on March 1, 2014 23 matchday in a 2-2 draw in the away game against Erzgebirge Aue.

National

Halfar played in various German U- national teams; among other things, he came three times at the U- 21 team to use, where he was able to achieve two goals.
