Yannick Gerhardt

Yannick Gerhardt (born 13 March 1994 Wuerselen ) is a German footballer who is since the 2013/14 season professional at the 1 FC Cologne.

Personal

Yannick Gerhardt comes from a football-mad family. His younger sister Anna (* 1998) also plays for the 1st FC Cologne and has been appointed to the U-15 and U-16 national team. He attended the Gymnasium in Düren Stiftische, where he graduated from high school in the summer of 2013.

Career

Having already played in the youth at the Domstädtern and published there attention to themselves as free-scoring midfielder, Gerhardt was included in the senior squad for the 2013/14 season by new coach Peter Stoeger. On the first day of the season Gerhardt made ​​his debut for the first team when he ran aground in the starting lineup in the away match against Dynamo Dresden ( 1:1) and, after 67 minutes replaced by Daniel Halfar. His first goal as a professional footballer, he scored on September 1, 2013 in a 4-1 against Erzgebirge Aue in 2 minutes.
