Danmark Rundt
The Tour of Denmark (Danish: Post Danmark Rundt ) is a bicycle race that is held annually in August in Denmark. It is part of the UCI Europe Tour, and belongs to the category 2 HC. Currently (2010) taking 15 racing stables in part with 8 riders on the tour. Due to the flat landscape of Denmark this stage race is a domain of sprinters and time trialists. In addition to the general classification riders will also compete in the team competition, in the mountains classification, the class for young drivers and the most common attack. The race was held in 1983 for the first time. After a seven year hiatus, it is again performed since 1995. Record winner is Kim Andersen and Jakob Fuglsang, who could win the Tour three times; the latter won the tour in 2010 for the third time in a row.
