Darren Lee Appleton ( born February 8, 1978 in Pontefract ) is an English snooker player.

Career

His first major success was winning the first official 10-Ball World Cup 2008. In the final he defeated the Taiwanese Wu Chia -Ching with 13:11. In addition, he has worked with the Italy won the 2008 Open his first tournament of the Euro - Tour series, after he was already in 2006 at the Czech Open in the finals, but lost to Nick van den Berg.
