David E. Campbell (sound engineer)

David E. Campbell (born 20 century) is an American sound engineer.

Campbell came in 1977 for the first time as a sound engineer in the film The Pack ( The Pack ) in appearance. In this thriller is left on a holiday island of half-starved dogs band together and become a threat to humans and other animals. His last work gave Campbell 2007 for the horror film The Reaping - from The Messengers of the Apocalypse. Directed by Stephen Hopkins Hilary Swank and David Morrissey play the lead roles. In the movie database IMDb 175 films are listed, where Campbell was involved.

In 2000, Campbell was "Best sound mixing " award along with John T. Reitz, Gregg Rudloff and David Lee for his work on the science- fiction film matrix in the category.

Back in 1991, Campbell was nominated along with his colleagues Thomas Causey, Chris Jenkins and Doug Hemphill for the Oscar in the category " Best Sound " for his work in the comic book adaptation Dick Tracy. In addition, he was nominated for his work on the following films for the " Best Sound ":
