David Miller (director)

David Miller ( born November 28, 1909 in Paterson, New Jersey, † April 14, 1992 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American film director.

Life

David Miller came about writing lyrics for movie trailer for the movie. First as an editor and from the mid-30s as a director he could gain a foothold in Hollywood. Directed by his short film Penny Wisdom was honored in 1938 with the Oscar for best short film. Military service during the Second World War, Miller spent in the Department of director Frank Capra, the propaganda documentary films. Miller pointed at his staged in the following years, films on great versatility and turned, for example, the comedy Love Happy with Groucho Marx and Marilyn Monroe, as well as the thriller Midnight Lace.
