Davide Chiumiento

Career

In 2003 he became professional with a contract with Juventus. However, in the 2003/ 04 season he played for Juve only a single time in Serie A. Therefore was he ever for a year first in the 2004 /05 AC Siena and for season 05/ 06 at the Le Mans UC 72 borrowed. In both clubs he did not progress beyond the role of a supplementary player. In total, he completed 15 games in Serie A and 17 games in Ligue 1, wherein he could ever score a goal.

He decided in the presence of requests of both associations, but to play internationally for the Swiss Football Association. There was Chiumiento regular players of U -21 selection; he came across this on 11 missions.

In August Davide Chiumiento was loaned out again; this time to the Swiss club BSC Young Boys.

On 15 June 2007, the FC Luzern announced the commitment Chiumientos. He signed the FCL a contract until 30 June 2010 and tried to give new impetus to the central swiss traditional club of his career. That he succeeded right away, he was ordinary and key players and brought it to season 34 missions, where he scored twice and seven presented.

After long waiting was on 22 May 2010 that he will leave the FC Luzern. The salary demands were too high for FC Luzern. He then moved to Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the North American Major League Soccer.

For the 2012/13 season back, he returned to Switzerland for FC Zurich.
