Dean Fertita

Dean Fertita ( born September 6, 1970 in Royal Oak ) is an American rock musician and multi-instrumentalist.

Career

Fertita founded with Kevin Peyok, James Edmunds and Dominic Romano the band The Waxwings. By 2004 they released three studio albums together. Since an announcement of a fourth album in 2005, all the members have dedicated to other projects and expressed no further information on the whereabouts of the band. Fertita rose as a touring member of the band The Raconteurs one, also joined in the spring of 2007, the Queens of the Stone Age and has become a permanent member since the Era Vulgaris tour. With Queens of the Stone Age Fertita on keyboards, guitar and sings. In a hiatus of Queens' Fertita dedicated to his solo project called Hello = Fire and released a self-titled debut album, on which many guest musicians can be heard. Founded also in 2009 Fertita with Jack White, Alison Mosshart and Jack Lawrence, the band The Dead Weather. He also represented at the Eagles of Death Metal bassist Brian O'Connor live after she was diagnosed with this cancer.
