Dedina Mládeže

Dedina Mládeže (Hungarian Ifjúságfalva, literally " village of Youth" ) is a municipality in western Slovakia. It is located in the Danube lowland on the right bank of the Waag, 5 km north of the city Kolárovo.

The town was founded on April 4, 1949 by young volunteers who built the " route of Youth" ( Trat Mládeže ), as Družstevná. After it was originally placed on the area of ​​the city Kolárovo and parts of the community lands of Komoča, Neded and Zemné, the community in 1954 as Dedina Mládeže became independent and should serve as part of the collectivization of agriculture in the country as a model.

To the municipality next to the main town also includes the northerly settlement Maly Ostrov (Hungarian Kissziget ).
