Demirci

Demirci is the county seat of the eponymous district of Manisa Province in the Aegean region of Turkey. The city is located at an altitude of 853 m. The district is located in the northeast of the province, bordering the province of Kütahya.

The district, with an area of 1,473 km ² has 50 539 inhabitants, the city of 18,572 ( 2009).
