Deuselbach

Deuselbach is a municipality in the district of Bernkastel -Wittlich, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Thalfang to the inheritance head. Deuselbach is a nationally recognized resort.

Geography

The municipality is located in the Hunsrück region at the foot of the heritage head. The average annual temperature is 8 ° C. Nearest resources centers are Bernkastel -Kues and Morbach. Trier is about 31 kilometers away.

History

Deuselbach was first documented in the year 1112.

By the end of the 18th century belonged to the Official Deuselbach Dhronecken in the wild and Rhine County. After the French Revolution, the left bank of the Rhine and thus Deuselbach 1794 taken from France in possession. Deuselbach was assigned from 1798 to 1814 the Canton Hermes wedge in Saarland Department. Thanks to the law of 26 March 1798, the French raised their feudal rights in the region.
