Rorodt

Rorodt in the Hunsrück is a municipality in the district of Bernkastel -Wittlich, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Thalfang to the inheritance head.

History

In a document of 1136 the village was first mentioned in documents as Roveroth. Rorodt belonged to the late 18th century to the Official Dhronecken in the wild and Rhine County and was part of the Markthal catch. After the French rule, the town came in 1815 with the Kingdom of Prussia. Since 1946 it has been part of Rhineland- Palatinate.
