Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger ( Diane Kruger also; born July 15, 1976 in Algermissen as Diane Heidkrüger ) is a German actress, which occurs mainly in English-and French-language films. She is known primarily as Basterds Helena of Troy (2004 ), Dr. Abigail Chase in National Treasure of the Knights Templar (2004) and National Treasure: Book of Secrets ( 2007) as well as Bridget von Hammer Mark in Inglourious ( 2009).
Life
Kruger went through the tenth grade high school Josephinum in Hildesheim. She also participated in the Hildesheimer ballet school Freese - building lessons and took off several children ballet exams. In 1992, she was 16 years old in the world final of the competition Model Look of the Year (Face of the year ) of the Elite modeling agency. She then went to Paris and worked as a model under her real name. After a few years there, she took acting lessons and eventually got smaller film roles. To be able to market themselves better, they shortened their last name since her role in the film Bad, Bad Things to Kruger instead Heidkrüger, as this name was too long and contained an umlaut.

Private
On September 1, 2001 Kruger married French actor Guillaume Canet. Five years later, the couple divorced again. Since 2006, Kruger is in a relationship with the Canadian Dawson 's Creek actor Joshua Jackson.
