Die Haut
The skin was an experimental German post-punk, post-rock band from Berlin, celebrated the underground success in the 1980s and 90s. The only constant member was Christoph Dreher. The band's name is derived from the German title of the novel La Pelle by Curzio Malaparte.
Although originally established as an instrumental ( anti-) rock quartet appeared on many panels and live performances from the skin with numerous international guest singers.
Their last album was Spring ( 1997), followed by the remix album Springer (1998). Shortly after the band broke up surprisingly. Christoph Dreher Park and Remo worked separately on while Jochen Arbeit and Rudi Moser at the Berlin-based band Einstürzende Neubauten boarded and Thomas Wydler continue assisting with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
