Dieter Müller

Dieter Müller ( born April 1, 1954 in Offenbach am Main as Dieter Kaster ) is a former German football player and twelve times for national team. He was for twelve years president of Kickers Offenbach. Today he runs a football school.

Club career

Dieter Müller grew up in Dreiech Götzenhain. He played a total of 303 league games for the clubs Kickers Offenbach, 1st FC Cologne, VfB Stuttgart and 1 FC Saarbrücken, scoring 177 goals. He is number 7 of the list of scorers.

His professional career began in the former youth national team in the 1972/73 season at Kickers Offenbach under his birth name Dieter Kaster (father Heinz Kaster has performed at FC St. Pauli ). It was only after the change in 1973 to 1 FC Köln, he took the surname of his adoptive father and named Dieter Müller.

With the 1st FC Cologne was Dieter Müller once German champion and twice DFB Cup winner.
