The Diori Hamani Airport ( IATA: NIM, ICAO: DRRN ) is the international airport of Niamey, the capital of Niger. It is located about eight kilometers from the city center in a suburb southeast of the main traffic artery of the country, the National Highway 1, which connects Niamey to the east of the country. The airport is also the seat of the nation 's air forces.
